The Wellness
Ritual

“Before wellness existed, this did.”

A ninety-minute drive south of the city, Tepoztlán has been a place of healing for longer than anyone can remember. Beneath the Tepozteco — the mountain that Aztec healers climbed to read the sky — Tepoztlan holds a garden of ahuehuetes and amates, a spa whose treatments were recovered from the memory of local grandparents, and a Temazcal guided by someone who learned the ceremony the way it was meant to be learned: from someone who already knew it. We take you there.

The Wine, Cheese
& Bernal Experience

“Move, encounter new people, open yourself to a world where you might not understand or agree with the person next to you, but have a drink with them anyway. Eat slowly... Enjoy the ride.” A. Bourdain

At altitude, beneath the shadow of the third-largest monolith on earth, Querétaro makes wine that surprises even those who thought they knew México. We take you there: private vineyard tour, artisan cheese tasting, and free time in the extraordinary village of Peña de Bernal.

The Pulque
Ritual

“Pulque is the liquid reminder that the earth always heals the soul.”

A journey into the heart of Mexica mysticism. Long before it became a drink of the people, pulque was the sacred elixir of the gods and the Mexica nobility. We take you to the source: vast, quiet maguey fields where time slows down. Here, you will witness the ancient art of el raspado and taste the traditional brew straight from the hacienda, understanding why this living plant has been revered for centuries. Later, following a ritual reserved for Mexica royalty, you will step into a sacred bath infused with fermented pulque. Enriched with natural enzymes, amino acids, complex B, and vitamin C, this ancestral soak does more than hydrate, exfoliate, and rejuvenate the skin—it softens the boundary between the body and the earth.

The Talavera
Alchemy

“Earth, fire, and history, shaped by your own hands.”

In the heart of Puebla, a single workshop has kept the strict, 16th-century soul of authentic Talavera alive. This is a living sanctuary where earth, water, and fire still obey the rules of a coveted Denomination of Origin. We open the heavy doors of this historic workshop for a private, guided immersion through a centuries-old process — from the initial kneading of the clay to the final, meticulous glaze that has defined Mexican luxury for generations. The journey transforms when you pick up the brush. In an exclusive studio space, guided by master artisans who carry the secrets of generations, you will engage in a hands-on painting workshop. Using the same mineral pigments and traditional techniques as the old masters, you will leave your own mark on history, painting a unique piece of Talavera to take with you.

The Agave Paradox:
Mezcal vs. Tequila

“They share the same mother, but one was raised by the desert winds and the other by the mountain fires.”

To the untrained palate, tequila and mezcal are often spoken of in the same breath. Yet, they belong to different worlds. One is a masterclass in volcanic soil and industrial precision; the other is a liquid archive of smoke, clay, and wild ecosystems. We gather inside an intimate, green-walled sanctuary hidden in the heart of Roma Norte. Guided by a resident master sommelier, you will learn to read the liquid, understand the botanical intelligence of different agave species, and finally demystify the boundary where tequila ends and mezcal begins. To anchor these sacred spirits, each glass is thoughtfully paired with traditional corn-based antojitos from the kitchen, each bite hand-pressed and slow-cooked to mirror the earthy undertones of the agave.

The Sugarcane Chronicles:
Charanda & Ancestral Rums

“Brought across an ocean, rooted in volcanic soil, and distilled into a sweet, fiery rebellion.”

While agave dominates the modern conversation, Mexico's relationship with sugarcane is older, deeper, and profoundly complex. When the crop arrived in the 16th century, it met the mineral-rich, volcanic soils of Michoacán and the tropical valleys of Veracruz, giving birth to a spirit culture that is entirely unique. This experience is a sensory journey through that overlooked liquid history. In a beautifully curated setting, you will trace the evolution of sugarcane spirits from raw, ancestral aguardientes to the strictly protected Denomination of Origin of Charanda. Through a guided masterclass, you will taste four distinct varieties, exploring how altitude, copper stills, and wild fermentation alter the profile of the cane, concluding with a contemporary signature cocktail that showcases the versatile future of Mexican mixology. To ground the tasting, the flight is paired with a traditional, hand-pressed gordita de arriero — a rustic, flavor-packed corn pocket that honors the historic muleteers who mapped the old trading routes.

The Heirloom Grain:
Mexico's Corn Whisky Revival

“To pour a glass of Mexican whisky is to taste thousands of years of botanical memory, distilled.”

Maíz is not just an ingredient in México; it is the absolute foundation of its culture, cosmogeny, and soul. Today, a new generation of visionary distillers is taking ancient, heirloom corn varieties — red, blue, and yellow grains grown in high-altitude volcanic soils — and transforming them into some of the most complex whiskies in the world. This experience explores that revolutionary movement from grain to glass. Hosted in an intimate, design-focused sanctuary, you will dive into the production philosophies, unique nixtamalization processes, and barrel-aging techniques that set Mexican whisky apart from its American or Scottish counterparts. Through a curated flight of four of the country's finest expressions, you will discover unexpected notes of roasted cocoa, cooked agave, and sweet smoke. To complete the sensory cycle, the tasting is paired with elevated esquites: traditional warm corn kernels simmered with local herbs, fresh cheese, and secret spices, celebrating the sacred grain in its most iconic urban form.
